The cheapest way how to travel around the Prague is to use a public transport. Basic transfer ticket is for 32 CZK / person and is valid for 1 hour. You can buy it on many spots in Prague (in a stand or Ticket machine). Remember to valide it before you use a public transport (yellow devices placed inside the vehicle).

Fares in Prague:
The tariffs are divided into zones P and O. For you are mainly important the zone P including: trams, public buses, metro, ferries, Petrin funicular and selected Czech Railway lines.

Tickets :

How to get from the Prague airport to the city center:
Prague airport is located about 15km from the city center. You have several options how to get to the downtown. Using either public transport, taxi pick up previously arranged (we offer it for 590 CZK / 4 persons or for 950 CZK / 8 persons) or taxi.

If you need to go to the city center the best bus for you is no. 119 (running approx. from 4:30 am till 11:30 pm) – heading from the Prague airport to Dejvicka (subway station, green line A) which is the last stop of the bus.
Total time:    30-40 min (25min in the bus, 5 - 10 min in metro, depends where exactly you are

Other bus which you can use is no. 100 (running approx. from 5:30 till 11:30 pm) - heading from the Prague airport to Zlicin (subway station, yellow line B) which is the last stop of the bus.
Total time:    30-40 min (15 min in the bus, 20 - 25 min in metro, depends where exactly are you heading)
Total cost:    32 CZK per person

There are other buses as well: 179, 225
Please note - the metro is not operating at night! (closed 00:30am - 4:30am)

At late night you can take a nigh bus no. 510 (running approx. from midnight till 4 am) heading from the Prague airport and you have to get off at station Divoka Sarka. Than you have to change to the night tram no. 51 to go to the city center.
