Pustevny is a major tourist center located at an altitude of 1,018 meters in the saddle of the Radhošť massif in the eastern corner of Moravia. The Pustevny area has been declared a National Cultural Monument since 1995, thanks to its unique architectural and urban complex, which includes, among other things, timbered folk-style buildings created by the renowned architect Dušan Jurkovič between 1897 and 1899. These buildings—the Libušín dining hall, the Maměnka hotel, Pustevenka, and the bell tower—are managed by the National Museum of Rural Architecture. The hotel and dining hall still serve their original purpose to this day, so you can stay or enjoy a meal in their distinctive interiors.
