During the summer season from June 4, 2011, to October 2, 2011, visitors to Černá Hora can take advantage of the “Černohorský BUS” service. This is a combined connection of transport by cable car and bus from Pec pod Sněžkou through Horní Maršov to Janské Lázně and back. Since the most popular trips from Černá Hora are walking routes to Pec pod Sněžkou, Velká Úpa, and Horní Maršov, we offer you a combined ticket for the “Černohorský Express” cable car and the “Černohorský BUS.” With the ticket, you will receive a bonus – a voucher for 3 rides for the price of 2 rides at the 1st Krkonoše Mountain Alpine Coaster in Relaxpark Pec pod Sněžkou. Tickets can be purchased at the cable car ticket offices if you first use the cable car ride up to Černá Hora, or from the bus driver if you first use the bus service.
In favorable weather conditions, you can visit the Panorama lookout tower at the top of Černá Hora, from where you can admire the Krkonoše peaks as well as the foothills of the Krkonoše Mountains. From mid-June, the 1st Krkonoše Cycling Nature Trail is open to visitors. It is 16 km long and runs along forest roads on Černá and Světlá Hora. The route offers breathtaking views of the main Krkonoše ridge with its dominant peak – Sněžka. The ideal starting point is the upper station of the cable car. If you use the cable car for transportation, you will avoid a 6 km uphill climb with an elevation gain of 600 m. From this date, the Černá Hora Peat Bog Nature Trail is also open for walking visitors.
