Dalešice brewery was probably founded in the late 16th century. The Moravian plate placing undoubted existence of the brewery in 1609, when there was nobility George of Nachod. The oldest parts of the current complex of buildings dating from the early Baroque period, ie 17th century, which reveal a particularly massive stone walls, types of vaults and stone window jambs. It was a small brewery where all the work was carried out manually, the exhibition was designed basically for the needs of his own estate, and such was around a few (eg Myslibořice, Rouchovany, Vladislav).

In 1882 he bought the whole estate with Dalešická myslibořickým important Austro-Hungarian entrepreneur Baron Anton Dreher as its first acquisition in the Czech lands. At that time he was already the owner of the largest brewery in the Empire - Schwechat near Vienna, as well as a brewery in Pest in Trieste, Italy. In 1894 and 1896 he bought another brewery in Brumově-Bylnice and also built a brewery in Saaz. Dalešice brewery immediately after purchase significantly expanded and modernized, added the malting tower, a new fridge and brewhouse. He led the way to industrial brewing and malting, transmission lines on a steam-engine propulsion and other technical achievements, which largely operate continuously up to 70 20th Century. Technology varna (or at least some parts of) delivered firm R. Nietsche from Olomouc. At this time, therefore, was so characteristic building with two chimneys, which still form, and as we all hope will be a long time to form, one of the landmarks of the town. Held Dreherovy families left the estate until the first land reform in the first half of the 20th 20th century, when the so-called democratic Czechoslovakia vyvlastňovalo land and industrial enterprises and functional units of parcelovalo in cooperative shares. Own-account Dreher brewery baron ran only until 1877 and replaced it with brewers p Estl, Mr. Frey and Mr. Kittl. The latter in that year rented the entire operation, and held it in 1889. In the years 1889-1900 he was the tenant Mr. Joseph Uchytil and after his death his brother Rudolf.

After 1925, functioned as a cooperative venture brewery and soda. Under socialism, the brewery was nationalized in a Group company brewery and malt Prague and organizationally integrated into the national enterprise Jihomoravská BREWERIES Brno as the plant is running at 03 - Znojmo. A number of brewers excelled especially Mr. Francis Nicodemus, for his work Dalešická beer had an excellent reputation in the whole region and then also nearby production crew filmed Mr. Šustr (directed by Jiri Menzel, architect Mr. Hloch, J. Šofr camera) film "Who looking for golden bottom. " Perhaps if these people already know the charm of this place.

The brewery had reached its maximum exhibition of 25 to 30 thousand. hl per year and brewed Pale 10 °, 12 ° light lager and black garnet 15 °. Inability to further increase production mainly because of water scarcity and survival and damage brewhouse technology has led to the decision to close this inefficient operation and was thus 19 August 1977 brewed the last batch. A short while still serving as a brewery warehouse Znojmo beer.

In May 1980, the object apparently spent most glorious period of its history. Exteriors and interiors used by director Jiri Menzel to shoot the famous movie Cutting on the stories of Bohumil Hrabal with Jiri Schmitzer and Magda Vašáryová in the lead roles. Parts of the movie were also filmed in the town and in the beginnings of a brewery in Cold.

Other stories grounds were happiest. In a letter dated 29 June 1982 by the director of the South Moravian breweries np Mr. Václav Potěšil said: "Dislocation spaces canceled operations in the future, we wanted to retain for the purposes of recreation workers undertaking or premises used for the intended purposes superior body. Subsequently, however, we became convinced that our intentions are not original real. "

Economic agreement on the transfer of the Administration of National Property of 30 June 1982 were based on indications of interest, including the building of the land transferred to the MNV Dalešice per 370,564, - crowns. The intention was to create object 'offices and operating facilities for the needs of socio-political action operated by municipalities Dalešice. "On 10 6.1986 MNV Dalešice JmKNV asks for consent on free transfer "excess" co-op complex on 9th May in Hrotovice. It notes are wanted by the economic agreement to resume operations and awarded the project task organization POTRAVINOPROJEKT Brno to build a brewery in the exhibition 80,000 hl / year. The estimated price was fantastic when 114,182 thousand. CSK, so this "extraordinary" plan failed.

On November 1, 1991 membership meeting approved the sale of buildings of ZD TDCA Ltd. Brno for the amount of 2,823,275 crowns. TDCA Ltd. Company provided property as security for a loan Pragobanka Prague ZMK society, as in the amount of approximately CZK 70 million. This company had in 1994 carried out demolition work (broke most roofs, some objects bearing interior walls and ceilings, etc.), did not pay anyone anything and was destroyed.

Another 6 years Brewery dilapidating, náletovými overgrown trees, became a source of building material and the target of vandalism. In 1999, in a repeated auction obtained current owners, who have held challenging attempt to preserve this valuable value. Hopefully for the brewery that started a happy new year.
